Who are the Authors?
Eli and Tina have been together since 2018 and got married in 2023. Eli loves carrots and Tina loves being thrifty. We both love being creative in different ways, which is why we started Thrifty Carrot Publishing.
What do you do ?
Tina is currently a museum educator at the American Museum of Natural History in NYC where she teaches science to children and families. Eli leads sales for a software company in the US, and enjoys coaching others and writing about career development. We both like being active and being around nature.
Where do you live?
We live in New York City and love exploring the city by foot and by bike.
When did you decide to start writing children’s books?
Eli has wanted to write children’s books from about the moment he met Tina. We published our first book in 2020 during the pandemic “I Want to Go Outside.” We are excited to share their newest work “Animals Send Valentines Too” to more readers.
What are your plans for the future?
We will continue to grow and learn with their family as we travel the world.
Where are your favorite place you’ve traveled to together?
Italy has a special place in our hearts because we got married there! We frequently go back to DC/Virginia and the West Coast to visit family. Mexico City is also one of our favorite places.
What will you do next?
We hope to publish more books and are currently in the early stages of their next project which is an exciting collaboration.
